Meg Rowland is a personal trainer and online coach who wants to teach women that fitness is more than a number on a scale; educating and supporting them in their nutrition, health and fitness goals.
My name is Megan Rowland, and I started my own 1-1 Personal training and online coaching business in 2022.
My love for fitness started when I was just 17 – I had NO idea what I was doing in the gym and overthought everything. I was so uncomfortable in my skin. I developed a very unhealthy relationship with food, leading to disordered eating, over exercising and an endless spiral of not feeling good enough.
Whilst studying at Sports Medicine at King’s College London, I turned my life around, and healed my relationship with food. I initially planned to continue my postgraduate studies to qualify as junior doctor but I fell in love with Sport Nutrition and how empowering it was to take control of my own fitness. Throughout university, I worked alongside Tottenham Hotspur female academy athletes, helping with their nutrition and educating young athletes on the importance of nourishing their body.

I chose to study with Future Fit as the company provides more than a qualification. I have no doubt that Future Fit is the right choice to give me the tools to educate and support women in their nutrition, health and fitness goals.

Performance in the gym matters to me, and I am passionate about helping other women fuel their bodies for success in their fitness goals. I am CONFIDENT that everyone has the capacity to take control of their fitness and health in the right way – without restriction and without the guilt I previously experienced around food. My experience and personal growth has enabled me to develop programs with the mission to help women AVOID the years I wasted dieting, overtraining and hating myself. Fitness is MORE than a number on the scale, and I am here to make others realise that.

I was passionate about helping others avoid all the mistakes I made when I first started out. As a young woman, I felt lost and hated myself. Nobody should ever feel that way. There is a lot of confusing and misleading information available online, and it is my mission to help women understand they do not need to live a life of restriction in order to achieve their fitness goals.
Fitness saved me. If I did not start lifting and looking after my body, I would have been extremely ill both physically and mentally. It has enabled me to appreciate my body for what it can DO, not just what it looks like.
I chose to study with Future Fit as the company provides more than a qualification. Future Fit supports my vision to empower women to start lifting, focus on health and aspire to be strong. Alongside the advanced knowledge gained from the Level 5 nutrition course, I have no doubt that Future Fit is the right choice to give me the tools to educate and support women in their nutrition, health and fitness goals.
Resistance training! I love to lift.
Not nervous, more excited! The nutrition course will enable me to continue to expand my knowledge as a coach and help others.
My favourite meal has got to be chicken fajitas or steak with sweet potato fries! I love Wagamama’s too.
If you’re unhappy in your current position, realise that it is more of a risk staying stuck, over trying to change your career and follow your goal. I think it is really important to back yourself and understand that everyone has to start somewhere. Do not compare yourself to others! Time is so important when making progress. Be consistent, show up and put in the time!
