I am a 26-year-old single mum to a beautiful 5-year-old boy. I know how tough it can be to take a step out of my comfort zone and work towards something that is entirely for me.
I am studying to become a Level 4 elite personal trainer with my aim to empower women to overcome their fears and take their first steps in becoming their most powerful and fearless selves.
I am currently growing a social media community full of realness and positivity to help women feel motivated and share tips and workout routines.
I am on my own health and fitness journey to become my best self and want to share this with the highs and the lows to show women that ‘you are not alone’.
Never compare yourself or your journey to anyone around you. Everyone works and grows and different paces. Enjoy the journey; this is so much fun. If you love it, then let yourself enjoy it. This industry is all about doing what makes you feel good.

My fitness journey started in lockdown in 2020. I lost 10kg through at-home workouts and research into nutrition.
Gyms opened up, and I got myself a personal trainer who later became my online coach. I want to help women in the same way that my coach has helped me. She was able to completely realign my brain into loving fitness and that after-exercise buzz. It became my passion; I realised that my office job was not what I wanted to be doing. I want to be out there coaching people and sharing my passion for helping them the same way I was helped. I will always be grateful to my coach.
I am moving from being a secretary for eight years to becoming a health and fitness coach, and I have never been more excited.
I did a lot of research into different personal training courses and found that there were a lot out there that were very short and didn’t cover much at all. I didn’t want just a qualification. I wanted to really learn and found that Future Fit was the best around for that. I trusted them and felt they could give me the best opportunity in my future career.
I have completed Level 2 gym instructor and will go on to study Level 3 personal training and Level 4 elite personal training course.
I was surprised at how little I knew. I have been in the fitness game for coming up to 3 years now, so I thought I was pretty clued up, but I now have a newfound respect for personal trainers and professionals within the fitness industry.
I love working at my own pace and fitting my studying around my current commitments. I really like the in-person workshops. They’re probably my favourite part. I love meeting like-minded people, and the trainers are just brilliant.
I am proud of myself. I am proud of how far I have come, from being a single mother with no aspirations or passions in life to studying the one thing I feel I am meant for. I am proud of myself for pushing through my fears and being able to stay consistent in my fitness journey. I have worked hard to become a better version of myself, and in the process, I have found a passion that I want to turn into a career.
If you had asked me two years or even one year ago, there is no way I would have seen myself having a career in fitness and working towards my goals. I cannot tell you how hard I have had to push sometimes, but it is all so worth it.
This changes all the time, but my favourite thing to cook is chorizo and chicken creamy cheese linguine. I love pasta dishes and am always trying to find new meals that will please my fussy palate. This one hits the spot with the smokiness from the chorizo to the nutty, cheesy flavour in the Parmesan that pairs nicely with my favourite poultry, chicken.
My main bit of advice is to focus on you. Never compare yourself or your journey to anyone around you. Everyone works and grows and different paces.
My second bit of advice would be to research what area of the fitness industry you want to go into; there is a massive variety of things you can do that you won’t even be aware of.
Thirdly, enjoy the journey; this is so much fun. If you love it, then let yourself enjoy it. This industry is all about doing what makes you feel good.
I am so proud to be part of Future Fit.
I have never found a community so welcoming and constructive. There is always someone I can reach out to if I have any questions or queries, and nothing I ask is ever too much. The in-person workshops are just brilliant. I couldn’t find another training company that offers workshops like this, and I think they are a real asset to Future Fit. The qualifications are recognised as some of the highest in the industry, proving that it is one of the best training providers. I enjoyed my experience with Future Fit and look forward to continuing my journey. They offer a wide variety of courses that I will be sure to continue to use Future Fit if I ever want to expand my knowledge further. They are the only provider I trust.
My ideal destination is Australia. I would love to live there for a few years. I have never been but know that they way of life over there is so different to here, not to mention the weather is better. It is a very active country, and health and fitness is seen everywhere. I would love to experience life down under and work along side people with the same outlook on life as me. I also wouldn’t mind holding a koala and seeing a kangaroo up close. Not too keen on the dinner plate-sized spiders, though!
