Pilates Instructor
“My goal is to still be able to run at 90”
I use Pilates to help keep me injury free and keep me running, cycling, water skiing and dancing at age 78. I do not have my own classes but regularly cover for David Lloyd clubs and 6 other smaller Pilates businesses when I can. I treat the work as a hobby, in the hope that I can inspire others to carry on exercising into their old age. I will be 80 next year!
As a banker throughout my working life, exercising was always important to me. As I got older I started to go to Pilates to keep me as free from injury as possible and I was inspired to become qualified!

The training was hard work for a 72 year old, particularly the Advanced Anatomy & Physiology exam but I came out with a great grade and made good friends with the other students.
Being able to inspire others through my teaching a wide circle of clients.
